Tanaka, Yankees look to advance to ALDS in Game 2 vs. Indians

The Yankees are one win away from putting away the Cleveland Indians in their Best-of-Three series and advancing to the ALDS for the 22nd time in franchise history, to face off with either the Tampa Bay Rays or Toronto Blue Jays. If the bombers offense comes to play as they did in last night's 15-hit, 12 run massacre of the Indians, the Yanks will have a few days worth of rest to look forward to after tonight. Masahiro Tanaka will get the nod tonight to try to put this series away, as the veteran right-hander will look to add to his already impressive 5-3 postseason record and 1.76 postseason ERA. Sluggers such as Gleyber Torres, DJ LeMahieu and, Brett Gardner will be a key role in tonight's matchup, looking to stay hot off of their success last night, combining for 10 of the Yankees 15 hits. Sluggers like Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton should also be looking to stay hot, as the two would each go 1-for-5, however, both having a two-run home run and a solo home run, respectively, so keeping the former AL Rookie of the Year and former NL MVP in their comfort zone will be a major factor to the Yankees success not only tonight but for the remainder of their postseason run.
